AUTOMATED LED SEQUENCES

Displaying your DJ name or a controller brand on an units with 4x8 or 8x8 LED button matrix:

BEAT SYNCED CONTROLS:

AUTOMATED EFFECT SEQUENCES:

Having a favorite effect sweep or a transitional effect that you like very much? With this kind of mapping control you can simply tap a button on your MIDI controller and have start the sequence which automatically applies and modulates certain effect/chain while you still have both of hands available on the mixer. Consider this being your third "virtual hand" =)

EFFECT MACRO KNOBS

FILTER ROLL:

Combines the Channel Filter and Deck Looping to create the filter roll effect. Same effect can be accomplished by using Beatmasher if that's your preference.

THE SUPERKNOB KONCEPT:

Imagine a fader that has built in multiple midi events that mappable on some specific position/value of your hardware, direction of the knob movement, splitting a fader in to two different sections etc. Not just great for unique effect control but also anything else you can imagine is possible to map with this kind of "thinking fader" mappings. (i.e. Custom fader and x-fader curves. the "tone" knob for controlling EQ on a controller surfaces with limited amount of rotary knobs like Kontrol F1)

MAPPING TRICKS

ISOLATE EQ EFFECT ASSIGNMENTS:

This is possible by duplicating a Track into another Deck. See this DJTT Blog Article to learn more about how this can be created in Traktor.

DIPPING THE CROSFADDER:

For those of you who are not satisfied with Traktors built in X-Fader Volume curve. Adjust the channel volume with this kind of mapping.

THE LOOP RECORDER LED FEEDBACK:

This is awesome tool for what is designed originally but I never actually use it to record loops when performing live. Instead, I like to keep it looping in 4-Beats pattern and use it's LED Output signal to create some custom LED blink states for controllers that are not normally supported with those advanced LED capabilities. Such as DJTT Midifighters!
